BHC Pic of the Week- Tribute to JP- Nr. 10

It’s been 25 years and instead of photos with a monologue camera, we are in the age of digitization, where with digital cameras, we have photos that are crystal clear, adjustable with photo works programs and easy to display. With each digital photo when looking at the monologues, we can see the difference. They fade away over time while digital photos never age.

But it’s not always the case. There are some photos we take with a monologue camera that we can take pride with. And with a little doctoring, they can also wow others. This was one of the photos Jonathan Parrish took with a monologue camera. A cool shot in the hot desert heat.

It’s the Cameron Suspension Bridge in Arizona. Built in 1911, the bridge used to serve traffic until its closure in 1959, when a deck truss bridge was built on alignment. It carried US Hwy. 89. The bridge is closed to all traffic with only a pipeline going across it. It’s been on the National Register since 1986. JP took this photo in 2011.
