BHC Pic of the Week- Tribute to JP: Nr. 4

.

This photo was taken in Florida in 2013 and features one of the most ornamental Marsh rainbow arches ever to be built in America. Most ornamental because not only the railings were built using the Art Deco design, but also the arches themselves. The Art Deco design was introduced in 1910 for concrete bridges; the Marsh arch, two years later. This means the bridge here was built at the very earliest in 1915. My guess is that it was constructed in the late 1920s into the 1930s.

The question is where is this bridge located and when was it built exactly? This is for you to look into. Have fun and remember: Your bridge matters. ❤
