This seegull really enjoyed a captive audience! 😊 The Bridge of Friendship at the German -Danish border. Two years ago it was completely closed to all traffic. Today it's if everything is back to normal. 😊 The Split at Hafenspitze. Our "tour guide" showing us the skyline at Hafenspitze. 😉👍 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cg7cAO-LnLs/ https://www.instagram.com/p/Cg7bviPLydc/ Timing is of the essence. This shot shows a yacht lining up on St. Mary's Church at Nordermarkt with the sun directly over the steeple. This is definitely one of my top ten favorites and one where a person needs to take a shot with any camera from here. One of Flensburg's seven wonders to see: the Alexandra. The last coal-fired ship in Germany. Interesting facts about the Wehrberg Bridge in Preetz: This bridge is a replica of a through truss bridge with bowstring design that was built around 1900. That bridge had riveted and welded connections. It was found on several vintage post cards. The replica was built in 2000 by Hans Umlauf (1930- 2010), which was the last of seven bridges in and around Preetz that was credited to his name. He retired in 2002. A plaque with a list of his bridges was unveiled in 2011 and can be found on this bridge.

Bridge #1

Here’s a very unusual wooden deck truss bridge located in Australia, courtesy of bushboys. Any ideas when it was built, let alone what the bridge type is? Feel free to comment. Thanks! 🙂
