Their bridge won in the category Best Example of a Restored Historic Bridge. Castle won in the category Lifetime Achievement. Built in 1930. Officials are prepping it up for the Tour de France which will come here on July 3rd. Details plus other stories in this week's BHC Newsflyer podcast. Built by the Massillon Bridge Company in 1873, bridge relocated here in 1985. Landis Road Bridge spanning the Wapsipinicon River. Built in 1909 by the Clinton Bridge Company. This is an example of the earliest days of concrete bridges in the US. Bridge 2802 spanned Okabena Creek. It was built in 1917 making it the first concrete (& girder) bridge built in the state of MN. It was sadly replaced in 2017. Okabena Creek Bridge. Built in 1905, relocated to this remote area in 1938, has been closed since 1990. Future still up in the air. Photo taken in 2012.
