In 1999, I went on a month-long European seminar with members of my political science group at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN (USA), where we visited London, Paris, Interlaken, Munich, Salzburg, Prague and Budapest. Each city meant a bridgehunting tour on my part, including the Charles Bridge in Prague. The oldest bridge in the city is still a beauty today, 18 years after my visit.
